Drake is a native of Toronto, Canada and was named global ambassador of the Raptors' organization in 2013.
Last year, Adonis drew a picture of LaMelo Ball which his father posted on his Instagram account (@champagnepapi), tagging the Hornets star to show how much his son idolizes him. In May, he received a pair of Ball's new shoes.

Ball has been out of the Hornets' lineup for quite a while now, dealing with ankle soreness. He last appeared in a game on January 26th.
Last week, Hornets head coach Steve Clifford provided an update on LaMelo's status.
"He's doing the same stuff now he was doing two weeks ago. He does whatever they (medical team) allow him to do...He wants to be back, but again he doesn't feel healthy enough or comfortable enough to play... I know he wants to get back, there's just a lot of factors."
